(On mine I run the ground wire to one post of the stop taipiece.then I know for sure that it is.) Well that definitely is a problem if the only ground wire is going from the control cavity to the TOM. Many think that it conveys vibrations to an under saddle transducer better than bone. Tusq is a great material though, particularly for nut and saddles of acoustic guitars.

Graphite should work, I would think, but I don't think Tusq would. Therefore, the saddles would have to be conductive or it becomes ungrounded. In my Sheraton' date=' the strings are grounded through the bridge. The question that I would have is whether the strings are still grounded.
